We may update the providers we use as our services evolve.
7. Sale, Sharing and Targeted Advertising
Some U.S. privacy laws define terms such as “sale,” “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” “cross-context behavioral advertising,” or similar concepts more broadly than their ordinary meanings.
For example, the use of advertising technologies that allow information about website activity to be disclosed to advertising partners may constitute “sharing,” “sale,” or processing for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising under certain state privacy laws, even when Bostie Bubbles does not receive money in exchange for that information.
Bostie Bubbles does not sell personal information for monetary compensation. Bostie Bubbles may use advertising technologies provided by partners such as Meta and Google, including the Meta Pixel and Google advertising technologies, for purposes such as advertising measurement, audience creation, remarketing, and related advertising activities.
Where applicable, the operation of advertising technologies is subject to the privacy choices available through our website, including applicable opt-out preferences and supported browser-based privacy signals.
You may exercise applicable opt-out choices through Your Privacy Choices.
8. Your Privacy Choices
Bostie Bubbles provides controls that allow visitors to manage applicable privacy preferences.
Select Your Privacy Choices on our website to review or modify available choices relating to cookies, advertising, sale or sharing of personal information, and other technologies.
Where applicable, these controls may include the ability to opt out of:
- sale or sharing of personal information;
- targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising;
- certain advertising technologies.
Our website uses Elementor Cookie Consent to manage applicable cookie and privacy preferences.
Our website is also configured to recognize supported browser-based privacy signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC), where applicable. We may also recognize supported Do Not Track/Do Not Sell signals through our privacy management technology.
When a supported privacy signal or an applicable opt-out preference is recognized, advertising technologies subject to that choice are configured to respond accordingly.
Your available rights and choices may vary depending on your state of residence and applicable law.
9. Email Marketing
We may use email addresses and other relevant customer information to communicate with customers and prospective customers about Bostie Bubbles products, services, content, and offers.
Marketing emails provide a mechanism to unsubscribe from future promotional email communications.
We use Klaviyo to manage marketing communications, segmentation, and unsubscribe preferences.
Opting out of marketing emails does not prevent us from sending transactional or relationship communications necessary to provide services you have requested, such as order confirmations, shipping updates, account notifications, password resets, or subscription-related communications.
Under CAN-SPAM, commercial messages must provide a functioning opt-out mechanism, and opt-out requests generally must be honored within the period required by applicable law.
10. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Bostie Bubbles uses cookies and similar technologies for purposes including:
- essential website functionality;
- security and fraud prevention;
- preferences and functionality;
- analytics;
- advertising;
- audience and advertising measurement.
We use Elementor Cookie Consent to provide cookie and privacy preference controls and to manage applicable privacy choices.
Our website also uses Google Consent Mode v2 in connection with Google services. Consent Mode allows applicable Google technologies to adjust their behavior based on the privacy and consent signals communicated by our website.
Certain technologies necessary for website operation, security, payment processing, fraud prevention, or other essential functionality may operate independently of advertising preferences where appropriate.
Analytics and advertising technologies may be treated differently depending on their purpose and the privacy choice being exercised. For example, an opt-out relating to sale, sharing, or targeted advertising does not necessarily disable technologies used solely for analytics where such processing is permitted under applicable law.
Advertising technologies subject to an applicable opt-out preference are configured to respect that choice.
For additional information about the technologies used on our website, please review our separate Cookie Policy.
You may manage available settings at any time through Your Privacy Choices.
11. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide services, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable legal, tax, and accounting requirements.
Our operational retention framework includes approximately:
- completed orders: up to 7 years;
- ended subscriptions: up to 7 years from the relevant transaction or termination;
- canceled orders: approximately 1 year;
- failed or pending orders: approximately 30 days;
- inactive accounts without purchases: approximately 2 years;
- My Dogs and Paw Picks information: generally for the duration of the associated account;
- customer support communications: generally 2 years;
- security logs: generally approximately 90 days, unless longer retention is reasonably necessary for security, fraud investigation, or legal purposes.
Marketing suppression records may be retained as necessary to ensure that an unsubscribe request continues to be respected.
Some transaction information may need to be retained even after an account deletion request because of legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution obligations.
WooCommerce provides configurable retention and anonymization mechanisms for accounts, orders, and ended subscriptions, as well as personal-data export and erasure functionality.
12. Security
We maintain administrative, organizational, and technical measures designed to protect personal information.
These measures may include secure hosting, access controls, encryption where appropriate, network protection, bot protection, vulnerability monitoring, backups, and fraud-prevention technologies.
Our security infrastructure may include Elementor Hosting, Cloudflare, Cloudflare Turnstile, Patchstack, and independent backups.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

15. Verification of Requests
To protect your information, we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
For registered customers, verification may involve confirming control of the email address associated with the account.
For guest customers or where additional verification is reasonably necessary, we may request limited information associated with a transaction or prior interaction.
We will seek to avoid requesting information beyond what is reasonably necessary to verify the request. WordPress/WooCommerce provides mechanisms that may be used to support personal-data export and erasure requests, including email-confirmation workflows.
16. Authorized Agents
Where permitted by applicable law, you may authorize another person to submit a privacy request on your behalf.
We may require reasonable evidence that the person has authority to act for you and may separately verify your identity where permitted or required by law.

You may also contact us through the Privacy Request Center and select the applicable appeal option.
18. U.S. State Privacy Rights
Privacy laws in certain U.S. states may provide residents with additional rights and disclosures.
Where an applicable state privacy law applies to Bostie Bubbles and to the relevant processing activity, we will provide and honor the rights required by that law.
These may include rights concerning:
- access;
- correction;
- deletion;
- portability;

Other U.S. states: residents of states with applicable comprehensive consumer privacy laws may have additional rights under their respective state laws.
Importantly, inclusion of this section does not mean that every state privacy law necessarily applies to Bostie Bubbles. Applicability depends on the requirements and thresholds established by each law.
19. Children's Privacy
Bostie Bubbles is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 in circumstances prohibited by applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Our Site and products are not directed to children. Individuals placing orders or purchasing subscriptions through the Site must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement or otherwise be legally authorized to make the purchase.
20. Processing Locations and International Transfers
Bostie Bubbles is based in the United States.
Our service providers may process or store information in the United States and other countries in which they or their service providers operate.
As a result, personal information may be processed in jurisdictions with privacy laws different from those of your state or location.
